Loop Maze — Free Time-Loop Puzzle Game

Loop Maze is a free online puzzle game where you record your movements as "echoes" — ghosts of your past selves — and use them to solve increasingly complex mazes. With 75 hand-crafted levels across 5 themed worlds, Loop Maze introduces a unique time-loop mechanic that tests your spatial reasoning, planning, and sequential logic.

How to Play Loop Maze

Navigate grid-based mazes to reach the green exit tile. Use arrow keys or WASD on desktop, or the on-screen D-pad on mobile to move. The challenge: pressure plates open doors only while someone stands on them, but you can't be in two places at once.

The solution is echoes. Walk to a pressure plate, press SPACE to wait, then press E to record your echo. Your echo replays your exact path as a ghost. While the echo holds the plate, you take a different route through the now-open door.

Game Mechanics

• Pressure Plates — Open linked doors while held down. Echoes can hold them for you.
• Switches — Toggle doors permanently when stepped on. No echo needed.
• Lasers — Deadly beams that reset your loop. Echoes can block them to create safe paths.
• Teleporters — Paired portals that transport you (and echoes) instantly.
• Conveyors — Moving platforms that push you and echoes in a direction each step.

5 Worlds, 75 Levels

World 1: Awakening (15 levels)

Learn the basics with 1 echo. Simple mazes with pressure plates and switches.

World 2: Duality (15 levels)

Coordinate 2 echoes simultaneously. Two plates must be held at once to open the path.

World 3: Trinity (15 levels)

3 echoes plus laser beams. Use echoes to block deadly lasers and create safe passages.

World 4: Convergence (15 levels)

4 echoes with teleporters and conveyor belts. Complex routing through warps and moving floors.

World 5: Paradox (15 levels)

The ultimate challenge: 5 simultaneous echoes with all mechanics combined.
