How to play RailTurn

Every tile holds a piece of rail — a straight, an elbow, a T-junction or an end cap. Tap a tile to turn it a quarter-turn clockwise. Your job is to join every piece into one connected network: no rail may run off the edge of the board, and no rail may point at a neighbour that does not meet it. Tiles already carrying power from the centre hub light up in purple, so you can always see how far the network reaches and work outward from there. Each board is built from a random spanning tree, which means a solution always exists and the par shown is the true shortest solution — match it for three stars. Tips & strategy

• Start at the corners and edges. A rail cannot leave the board, so border tiles have the fewest orientations that work.
• End caps are the strongest clue on the board — a single stub has only one neighbour it can legally meet.
• Follow the light. The purple network shows exactly which tiles are already joined, so fix the first dark tile touching it rather than hunting at random.
